Maya Hawke & Gia Coppola Are Hollywood Royalty in Venice

The co-writers walked the red carpet in style

Two descendants of Hollywood royalty, Gia Coppola and Maya Hawke, portray the highs and lows of reaching internet stardom as a YouTube influencer in their new film, “Mainstream” which premiered at the 77th Annual Venice Film Festival.

Directed by Gia Coppola, granddaughter of Francis Ford Coppola and niece of Sofia Coppola, the new flick stars Andrew Garfield and Maya Hawke – daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke.  Coppola and Hawke walked the red carpet together on Saturday in Venice, Italy for the film’s premiere.

Gia had a chic pastel moment in Gucci Resort 2020 on the red carpet and she also wore a colorful Gucci Pre-Fall look to the photocall.

Maya stunned in a nude Atelier Versace gown accented with a crescendo of palette sequins and also donned a Versace look to photocall.

The co-writers described Mainstream as “a love story of being in love with someone who doesn’t love themselves set against the new emerging culture of today’s world.”
