The 2019 edition of the CinéFashion Film Awards was filled with memorable speeches and performances. In case you missed it, here is a brief recap of the magical night.

The 2019 edition of the CFFAS started with an explosive performance by Lia Branly, Korrupt, and Drum Group, interpreting the song “Africa.” The theatrical performance featured Drum Group in perfect harmony with the vocals with Lia Branly overlaid.

Jean Watts, Instagram influencer turned pop star, performed her recent pop singles ‘Evicted’ and ‘Feel the Same.’ Her performance was reminiscent of early Lady Gaga. At the same time, A’kai fashion collection served as the backdrop of Watts catchy hooks and beats.

What hasn’t been said about Sister Sledge over the course of their prolific forty-year career? The ladies belted out a medley of their biggest hits, ‘Lost In Music’, ‘He’s the Greatest Dancer’, and ending with their monster smash hit, ‘We Are Family.’

Finally, the show ended with Big Mike’s Kids, aptly named Youth (the Future). The chorus of children spread a message of peace and love. HOWEVER, the night held a special surprise guest, Doug E Fresh, also known as the “Human Beatbox.” He continued the trend of spreading love and peace through an audience sing-along of ‘We Are the Children.’
